Onions (Allium Cepa)
Hybrid onion seed have been produced in South Africa since the 1970’s with the first hybrid Granex 33. Our growers are very experienced, and all use forced air drying systems to dry umbels and thrashers/ cleaners to pre-clean crops.
Bunching Onion (Allium Fistolosum)
Our growers are experienced in producing true fistolosum and cepa/ fistolosum crosses (New Bunching).
Shallots (Allium Ascalonicum) OP And Hybrid
First successful hybrid production protocol developed in South Africa for short day shallots. Very successful in the Orange river area of the Northern Cape Province.
Pumpkin and Squash (Cucurbita moschata, Cucurbita pepo)
Our growers experienced in open field OP’s and hybrid productions (bee/hormone and hand pollination).
Melon and Watermelon (Cucurbita melo, Citrullus lanatus)
Good potential for both crops in various areas in the Western and Northern Cape Province.
Cucumber (Cucumis sativus)
Successful productions in tunnels in the West Coast region of Western Cape Province.
Cabbage, Cauliflower and Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. capitate, Brassica oleracea var. botrytis, Brassica oleracea var. Italica)
Well established production area especially in the West Coast region of the Western Cape Province (open field and net houses).
Radish (Raphanus Raphanistrum Subsp. Sativus)
Suitable to local climatic conditions. Only possible to do autumn seeding production due to hot temperatures during spring and summer.
Lettuce (MI) (Lactuca sativa)
We produce lettuce successfully in selected area in the Western Cape Province with low rainfall possibilities during flowering and seed set.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
We produce OP and Hybrid varieties successfully with spring sowing.
Carrots (Daucus carota)
Traditional crop in South Africa with lot of experience in OP’s and Hybrids.

Beet, Swiss Chard (Beta Vulgaris)
Traditional crop in South Africa with good experienced in red and golden types.
Basil (Ocimum basilicum), Rucola/ Rocket (Diplotaxis graveolens), Dill/Aneth(Anethum graveolens), Parsley (Petroselinum crispum), Coriander (Coriandrum sativum), Sage (Salva officinalis)

Hybrid sweetcorn seed is produced extensively in South Africa including in the Northern Cape, Western Cape and in the corn belt of the Northwest- and Free state Provinces of South Africa.
